To all the teachers and students in our school,
This Friday, June 14th, we are to arrange a special lecture on the application of computer and learning with the network for those computer amateurs as participants. At 9:00 am on that day the lecture will be held in the meeting room of the fifth floor of teaching building. We are so delighted and proud to manage to invite Professor Zhang Ling from Department of Computer Science of Peking University as the main lecturer. It is requested that the audience present should think about some questions in their learning process ahead of this academic exchange and show great interest in listening and asking Profess Zhang for help. 1.首先給大家將一下英文通知的一般格式：
（1）頂行中間標注Notice，有時口頭通知也可用Announcement
（2）下面左起定格寫通知對象，一般都是“To xxx，”的方式，注意英文用逗號，這一點不同于中文有冒號。非正式通知或者受眾范圍很小可以省略這一項。
（3）接著縮格寫正文。按照通知內容具體展開。
（4）落款寫在正文后空兩行的右側，列兩行標單位和時間：先寫發布通知的單位，再下一行寫發通知的時間。
2.具體講講這個通知的主體部分的思路：
（1）本文要求上以“學校團委”的名義寫，落款自然就要以這個單位標注，英文說法是Communist Youth League Committee，根據內容可知通知對象是學校師生，當然如果寫“學校的電腦愛好者（computer amateurs）”也可以，不過選擇前者感覺更宏觀。
（2）通知的具體內容上注意要先交代核心內容，給人一目了然的感覺。這是一篇邀請大家聽講座的宣傳通知，直接把講座的時間、地點、內容、主講人一一講出來，句式上長短句結合顯得比較有活力。
就我寫的內容來說，先用了一個be to do結構表示計劃性，專題講座直接用了一個直譯special lecture應該可以理解，其實大學里更專業的表達是seminar（師生幾人小范圍的專題討論）；
因為時間很具體，可以斷開一下，先宏觀介紹專題講座時間、內容和聽眾屬性，再介紹當天具體時間和地點；
北京大學計算機系的說法Department of Computer Science of Peking University；
后面提要求，語氣應該和藹親切，用request或者hope都可以，句式上It is requested/hoped that 引導主語從句，后面用should表委婉的虛擬語氣，或者We request/hope that引導賓語從句也可以；
詞語上應該注意同義反復更換表達，比如a special lecture和后面的this academic exchange（這次學術交流）就是同一個意思。
最后表示歡迎，告訴大家別遲到。
不知道你們是高中還是大學的寫作，詞匯的選擇上我覺得本文應該還是比較基礎，因為字數有限，也沒用到太復雜的句式，通知不是大作文，簡潔明了是最好的。基本方法和格式都是通用的，只是內容需要具體問題具體分析，可以說考研究生的英語十五分鐘寫出這樣的短文也基本上達到既定合格要求了。

Each year, many students from other universities volunteer themselves to work in the
